Instead of lecturing students, TEV became a working environment. Session tracking, behaviour observation logs, product development logs, weekly documentation, portfolios, AI learning modules, badges, interviews with healthcare professionals and real product assignments — all pointed at one outcome: a student who has actually built something and can explain it.

How it started
Students kept asking how I learned all this. The honest answer was: by building things badly first. So I built them a place to do that.
What actually happened
The platform is where everything else lands — the projects, the packs, the books, the mentoring. Students bring a real problem, we choose the smallest tool that solves it, they build, and they publish what they learned. I used ChatGPT and Claude to draft, Codex to check work, Lovable to ship the surfaces, Canva for the visuals, and LinkedIn and Substack to make sure the learning left the room. The rule is simple: nobody learns by watching me. They learn by shipping something small and explaining it to the next person.
Moments that changed the build
- Me: "Assume zero technical background." → Every explanation got rewritten in plain English.
- Me: "Give them a real problem, not an exercise." → Motivation stopped being a problem.
- Me: "Make them publish." → Explaining it publicly is where the learning finally sticks.
What broke
My first curriculum taught tools in order. Students forgot everything. Teaching problems in order, with tools arriving only when needed, worked.
What I learned
A tool only makes sense once a problem has made you need it. Teach the problem first, always.
