My first build in this series: a full marketing site for my books and knowledge packs. I started with nothing but an idea and a colour I liked, and ended up with routing, a design system, a database, roles and an admin area. Everything I learned while building it became Edition #001.

I had a book in my head and no place to put it. I opened Lovable and typed one sentence: I want a website to market my book.

I kept meeting words like plugin, skill, connector, MCP and agent. Instead of nodding along, I stopped and studied each one, then tried to use them in a real project. This is the notebook of that experiment.

I kept reading about plugins, skills, connectors and MCP servers and understanding none of it. So I stopped reading and started installing.

Knowledge Packs workshop

Turning each finished study into a small paid pack

Every study I finish gets compressed into a knowledge pack: the frameworks, the templates and the exercises, without the story. This project is the pipeline that turns a finished edition into a pack.

Every time I explained something to a student twice, I wrote it down. The notes started outgrowing the notebook.

Patient Symptom Tracking App

Helping patients notice, document and communicate what they feel

Patients often forget or struggle to describe what happened between visits. This is a way for people to capture symptoms as they occur, organise them over time, and walk into an appointment with something clear to show. Part of the Third Eye Vitals family of patient-safety products.

Patients kept forgetting what happened between visits, and clinicians kept guessing. I wanted the patient to hold the record.

Patient Journey System

Mapping what actually happens to a patient across the whole journey

Care is not one event, it is a chain of handoffs. This system maps that chain end to end so the gaps become visible: where information is lost, where a patient waits, where safety slips. It also became a teaching tool for students learning how healthcare really works.

I wanted to see the whole chain of care on one surface, because harm hides in the handovers between steps.

Patient Safety Checklists

Turning paper safety checks into digital workflows

Checklists prevent harm only when people actually complete them. This project moved central-line and CLABSI-style safety checks into digital workflows with QR entry points, so the right check happens at the right moment and the record exists afterwards.

Paper checklists were being signed after the fact. A signature after the fact protects nobody.

Vitals & Offline Monitoring

Capturing vitals even when the network is not there

Hospitals and community settings lose connectivity constantly. This explores capturing vitals offline and syncing them safely later, plus connected-device and sensor concepts: alerts, reliability, and monitoring built around the patient rather than the machine.

The internet drops exactly when you need to record a vital sign. So I built for the drop, not around it.

Healthcare Quality Dashboards

Predictive quality intelligence, not just another health app

Compliance data is usually a report nobody reads. This turns it into dashboards that show patterns: P-charts, Pareto analysis, heat maps, and compliance calculations that point to where harm is likely before it happens.

Quality meetings were full of numbers nobody could act on. I wanted charts that end in a decision.

TEV Student & Innovator Platform

Learn, research, build, document, communicate, publish

Instead of lecturing students, TEV became a working environment. Session tracking, behaviour observation logs, product development logs, weekly documentation, portfolios, AI learning modules, badges, interviews with healthcare professionals and real product assignments — all pointed at one outcome: a student who has actually built something and can explain it.

Students kept asking how I learned all this. The honest answer was: by building things badly first. So I built them a place to do that.
